Deanna Paolucci
(H)B.A., LL.B.

Deanna Paolucci (she/her) brings a diverse and unique legal perspective to her career, in that she has worked with a variety of legal systems from around the world before gaining legal experience here in Ottawa.  From criminal defense work in Australia, to international law for a German law firm, to working with the Somali pirates in Kenya with the UNODC, Deanna was educated through a variety of experiences in many unique circumstances.

 

Deanna obtained a B.A. Honors degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University (2006) and an LL.B. from the University of Notre Dame (2011).  She then obtained her Canadian law equivalency through the successful completion of the NCA exams (2013) and was called to the Bar by the Law Society of Upper Canada (2014).  Deanna is a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public, and is also a government appointed Children's Lawyer through the Office of the Children's Lawyer.

 

Deanna is able to assist clients for CAS voluntary service agreements, temporary care agreements, openness agreements, apprehensions, supervision agreements, supervision orders, settlement conferences, access motions, summary judgement motions, care and custody motions, trials, and appeals.
