Tasha Stansbury
(H)B.A., J.D., LL.M.
Tasha Stansbury (she/her) is passionate about social justice and employs an inclusive client-centred approach in all of her work. She has a wide variety of professional and academic experience which enriches her legal practice. Tasha is a Barrister and Solicitor and was called to the Bar by the Law Society of Ontario in 2023.
Tasha is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Ottawa, with her research focusing on food law, environmental law, and human rights. She holds an LL.M. from the University of Ottawa (2021), a J.D. from the University of Windsor (2020), and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Equity Studies from the University of Toronto (2016). Tasha also teaches part-time at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and the Carleton University Faculty of Law and Legal Studies.
When she’s not working, Tasha can usually be found either curled up on the couch with a novel or exploring the outdoors with her rescue dogs, Ciri and Geralt.
